In DoDEA, we believe the key to mission success and highest student achievement is continuous improvement. It’s a concept that is central to what we do and forces us to look at what we are doing; examine how we are doing it; evaluate the results; and refine what we do so the needs of all our students are met.

Welcome

School Year 2009 - 2010

Dear Parents and Students,
It is our pleasure to welcome you to Bamberg Elementary School (BES), Home of the High Flying Eagles.  Our first priority is to ensure highest student achievement for all BES students.   The Bamberg Elementary School team of students, parents, staff, and community members, can achieve our vision of educational success for all students.  It is essential that we all share responsibility for our role in creating successful learners.  Collectively, it is the responsibility of us all to provide each student with the best possible education.  We welcome your involvement and input as we work together to make sure that we achieve our school motto of:

Everyone Achieving Goals Leading to Educational Success

We are looking forward to another exciting year at BES filled with learning experiences that challenge and actively engage students.  The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) curriculum standards, which form the basis of all educational programs at BES, are based on national standards.   The BES staff is committed to providing a warm, welcoming, and encouraging environment so that the students can honor the BES pledge to be ready to learn, responsible for words and actions, and respectful to others.  Together we can achieve great things as we collaborate, communicate, and work as a team to make this school year a productive and successful educational experience for the students of Bamberg Elementary School.
